Whether students are looking to advance their career, learn more about investing in order to meet
personal financial goals, or simply enjoy discussing stocks with similarly interested
individuals, the Isenberg MBA Investment Group is a fantastic platform. In addition to being
educational and fun, the Group provides a venue for students to test and improve their
investment and presentation skills with a group of peers.
At our bi-weekly meetings, 1 or 2 club members are given an opportunity to pitch a stock to the
rest of the members, who then vote on whether to include the stock in the Group’s portfolio,
for which members act as co-managers. In brief, stock pitches are a presentation of the rationale
for investing in a certain stock while also utilizing and expanding on equity valuation skills.
After the pitch, club members will ask questions and engage in a
discussion about the presented company prior to voting.
