Sooner Competitive Robotics supports multiple student robotics teams at the University of Oklahoma. On these robotics teams, student members focus on creating innovative robots to win competitions across the country. Along the way, they learn to apply engineering design skills, project management techniques, and industry standard technologies in order to make the best robots. As a result, our students are some of the best engineering students on campus, and the most prepared to make an impact in their careers. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of robotics, our students come from many different engineering backgrounds and learn to work on a cross-disciplinary team.
As a club we attend many different events on our campus and multiple robotics competitions per year. We also mentor and encourage K-12 students to pursue robotics or any STEM field as a career, because we believe it is our responsibility to use our knowledge for good.
