Our mock trial team is one of the best undergraduate teams in the nation. This year we finished 12th at the national championship and in 2018 we finished 6th. What makes our club unique is that we are completely student-run. Nearly every top team in the nation have attorney coaches. This means that unlike competitors from coached programs who simply recite scripts written by attorneys, we do all the work ourselves. This not only includes club logistics but also captaining teams, crafting case theories, and writing content.
Our tryout process is rigorous. We typically accept 8-10 students from a group of over 75. Our alumni attend prestigious law schools including Harvard, Columbia, Berkeley, and NYU. Some alumni who pursue non-legal paths and are employed by companies like J.P. Morgan, Microsoft, and Google. Our group is a tight-knit community of high achievers both in and out of the classroom.
