Tamasha is an annual event that aims to connect South Asian Americans back to their roots while fostering a positive cultural enviroment for all diverse communities in the form of dance. As a showcase to educate these various diverse communities about Indian dance and culture, eight Bollywood-fusion dance teams from across the nation will be invited to express their cultural talents while having the chance to compete for a first place prize. All profits raised will be donated to New Light, a non-profit charitable trust that benefits those at risk in the red-light districts of Kolkata, India.
