A few times each week, we will come together and work on building a robot for an annual competition held in April. This competition is called the IEEE SoutheastCon Hardware Competition where many schools in the southeast area come together and compete against others to see which school is able to successfully design a robot that follows the rules made by the IEEE institute. We are one of only a few HBCUs that participated in this year round and we are trying to stamp our name on this competition as one of the greatest schools to participate and also one of the greatest HBCUs to participate.
