UNITE-ing USC's Student Body
University of Southern California

The mission of UNITE is to bring together passionate, hardworking Trojans who want to explore career interests, gain professional experience, and learn alongside similarly minded students in an inclusive environment. UNITE’s core values are inclusion, and professional and personal development, which align us perfectly with the values of USC. So many great organizations on campus give students the opportunity to gain professional experience (in marketing, entrepreneurship, or similar functional areas) but are limited in accessibility by tedious applications and rounds of interviews that exclude all but the top percentage of students. USC has some of the brightest students in the world, and they deserve to have an organization that will benefit them professionally and personally, without being limited to a small percentage of the student body. UNITE is inclusive in that if a student is willing to work hard, be part of our mission, and uphold the standards of membership, they are welcome to participate in the organization. Through partnerships with local startups, UNITE will create a mutually beneficial relationship between these businesses and students. Businesses will be supporting the USC community by giving students opportunities to learn and gain professional experience, and students will use what they’ve learned in the classroom to help solve problems and improve processes in startups within Los Angeles.
