Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) at American University is a Chapter of the national organization SEDS USA. Our goal is to promote and advocate for the advancement of humanity on endeavors to explore the vast reaches of space, our final frontier. We hold weekly meetings, themed on various aspects of the growing space industry, cosmic phenomena, and everything else related to space. We have discussions on latest space news, host guest speakers from the aerospace industry, and organize special events for live rocket launches, museum and observatory trips, prominent speakers, and the premiers of exciting sci-fi movies. We are looking to partner with more organizations, and grow our presence and student involvement to have the greatest possible impact we can to educate, connect, and inspire passion.
