The Ismaili Gnosis - Texas Chapter serves as an intellectual forum for the Ismaili Muslim Community here around Texas. Ismaili Gnosis, ismailignosis.com, is a global Ismaili theology and philosophy think-tank. More info can be found here: https://essentialismaili.com/2016/04/05/video-60-ismailis-attend-2015-ismaili-gnosis-retreat-to-learn-about-imamat/ The campus organization aspect will also serve as the avenue through which the executive board will bring in scholarly academic speakers that we personally know and have relationships with, such as Dr. Ali Asani(Harvard PhD, Director of Islamic Studies at Harvard), Hussein Rashid (Harvard PhD), Khalil Andani (Harvard PhD), Neelam Khoja (Harvard PhD), and many more. Another goal of our organization is to advance the universal ethics of pluralism and knowledge. We hope to do this by working with the Department of Religious Studies, South Asian Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, and others in the College of Liberal Arts, as well as student organizations that represent other religious and non-religious groups on campus such as the Catholics, Atheists, Protestants, Jews, Sunni Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, etc.
