PEACE is a highly esteemed academic and political action student organization founded at American University in 2014. We are a platform for students, professors, scholars, professionals, think tanks, and other institutions to creatively exchange alternative approaches to subjects pertaining to East Asia. We hope to bolster peace by challenging students to expand their perspectives to traditional approaches to conflicts in the region while also grounding their understanding of East Asian studies through academia. . Our past events have included panel discussions, networking events, cultural exchanges, food sharing, and film screenings.
