UConn Surya is Connecticut’s premier Bollywood fusion dance team based out of the University of Connecticut. Founded in 2004, out team has evolved into a nationally competitive dance team that brings a unique new twist to Bollywood dance. To us, fusion is an all-encompassing dance style that is unlike any other. We aim to blend styles such as Bollywood, classical, lyrical, hip-hop, bhangra and much more to create one seamless routine.
