In the Fall 2004, three African Americans students founded Georgia Daze at the University of Georgia. Georgia Daze is a overnight campus visitation program for high school seniors that have been admitted to UGA. This program aims to encourage talented, historically underrepresented students to enroll at the University of Georgia. During this weekend prospective students are exposed to classes, faculty, campus leaders, University Housing, dining halls and student organizations.
