The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is an organization dedicated to the academic and professional success of African American - and other minority - engineering students and we are the largest student run organization in the United States. We offer our members leadership training, professional development, academic support, mentorship, etc. Our mission is to "Increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who, excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community". USC NSBE in particular is a leader in its region: we sent the most number of students in Region VI to our National Conference in Boston, MA and in 2015, we won National Large Chapter of the Year.
