Emerging Leaders in Engineering (ELE) is a student organization at Iowa State University that creates a collaborative, values-based learning environment for engineering students who are interested in developing their leadership skills.

ELE focuses on the development and education of student leaders preparing them to realize their full potential and to recognize their responsibility to make the world a better place. Upon graduation each ELE student will be prepared with a unique combination of technical and leadership skills to face a heavily technology dependent society and play visible roles in public leadership and policy making. ELE is focused on building a community of students dedicated to leadership.
